
Article: 267B Removal of doubt
1[267B. Removal of doubt.- For removal of doubt it is hereby declared that Article 152A omitted and Articles 179 and 195 substituted by the Constitution (Seventeenth Amendment) Act, 2003 (Act No. III of 2003), notwithstanding its repeal, shall be deemed always to have been so omitted and substituted.]

1. Section 93 of the Constitution (Eighteenth Amendment) Act, 2010 (10 of 2010), inserted the said new Art. 267B, along with new Art. 267A, after Art. 267 of the Constitution, (w.e.f. April 19, 2010).
Section 2(b) of the Constitution (Eighteenth Amendment Act, 2010 (10 of 2010) repealed the Constitution (Seventeenth Amendment) Act, 2003 (3 of 2003). As the said repeal was subject to Art. 264 of the Constitution, Art. 267B of the Constitution was inserted in order to continue the effect of the omission of Art. 152A, by section 5 of the Constitution (Seventeenth Amendment) Act, 2003, (w.e.f. December 31, 2003) and deem Arts. 179 and 195 of the Constitution, as substituted by sections 6 and 7 of the said Amendment Act, (w.e.f. December 31, 2003), to have been retained, notwithstanding its repeal.
