1. Section 10 of the Constitution (Seventeenth Amendment) Act, 2003 (3 of 2003), validated the insertion of Art. 270C, (w.e.f. December 31, 2003). Item 28 of the schedule to C.E.O. No. 24 of 2002, inserted new Art. 270C, (w.e.f. August 21, 2002). The draftsman, by mistake, inserted the year ‘2002’ as being the year in which the “Oath of Office (Judges) Order, 2000” was promulgated, whereas, the order was, in fact, promulgated in the year 2000.
